Performance
There are three impressive engine options offered throughout the lineup of new Cherokee models, all of which are designed to provide you with an engaging and commanding performance wherever you go around Roswell.
- Standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 180-horsepower and 171 pounds-feet of torque.
- Available 3.2-liter V6 engine that produces 271-horsepower and 239 pounds-feet of torque
- 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 270-horsepower and 295 pounds-feet of torque
The base engine is only available in the Altitude trim level, while Latitude Lux and Limited models are available with your choice of the V6 or turbocharged models, while X and Trailhawk models are only available with the V6 engine. All engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, providing a smooth and strong driving experience on every outing around Buford. Front-wheel drive comes standard, but there are multiple 4x4 systems offered, including an Active Drive II® system with a 2 speed transfer case. When properly equipped, the new Cherokee can tow up to a class-leading 4,500 pounds, making it easy to tow your boat to your favorite fishing spot.
Design
The new Jeep Cherokee lineup offers the same upright and iconic styling as its larger sibling, the Grand Cherokee, letting you enjoy a rugged design that stands out in the city and on the trail. Inside the cabin, there's comfortable seating for five passengers, along with 23.8 cubic feet of cargo space for all your storage needs. Cloth upholstery comes standard, but leather upholstery is also offered on higher trim levels.
Technology Features

The system comes displayed on a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen display, giving you easy control of a variety of features.
